Little known Cheers’ regulars ~ the blue blazer
Melville’s (the restaurant upstairs from Cheers) is a fine dining establishment, which is to say, a jacket is required (yes, even by employees of the bar checking on guests’ tables). There was always an appropriate jacket (and clip on tie) on the coat rack by the stairs, just in case someone needed to go upstairs.
